The town of Pardubice is very easily accessible. From the capital city of Prague 104 km away, you can get to Pardubice on the motorway D11 in about an hour drive. Pardubice’s strategic location on the main European railway corridor provides train connections to other European cities and, since 2000, Pardubice also boasts an international airport, which in 2018 opened a brand new terminal.

Pardubice is a European railway corridor. It is located on a corridor track Prague - Ceska Trebova. In the Pardubice main station many international trains stops, thus offering connections to cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Warsaw, Bratislava, Zilina, Budapest, Belgrade and others.

An important transport hub is a modernised international airport in Pardubice, which offers flight connections to Russia, England, Spain and, during the summer season, even to seaside resorts such as Burgas, Palma de Mallorca, Antalya, Tunis and others.

In Pardubice, you can also try a cruise on the Arnost ship on the Labe River. Besides sightseeing cruises, the ship operates as part of public transport to Pardubice suburbs, and also functions as a restaurant.

You can wander the town and its surroundings on foot or on bike. Kilometres of bike paths along the Labe River are also enjoyed by skaters.
